The question behind the worry

It isn’t simply, “Are they working?”

A student can be putting in time while still being unsure whether it is the right work, in the right order, with enough practice and revisiting.

Parents are not expected to be professional teachers or examination specialists. Deciding what should come next, what needs revisited and whether preparation is on track is professional teaching work.

Your child still does the work. My role is to make the right work—and the next step—much clearer.

One register, three pathways

Northern Ireland

CCEA Physics

GCSE Physics Units 1 and 2, Double Award Physics P1 and P2, AS Physics and A2 Physics.

Republic of Ireland

Leaving Certificate

Higher and Ordinary Level Maths, plus Physics, for fifth- and sixth-year students. I currently teach both subjects in the Republic of Ireland. My physicist’s perspective connects examination Maths to engineering, technology and space—so students can see what it makes possible.

Any location

GCSE Astronomy

A complete online course for examination preparation, home education or learning for interest.

Support shaped around the need

Not every student needs the same kind of help.

The register lets you indicate what you would realistically consider. Selected complete courses are available now. Because I teach full-time, I open only the number of live and personally guided places I can support properly. I review registrations in the order received and will confirm the most suitable available route, scope and price before you make any commitment.

Real experiences

What Physics students and parents say

He was really pleased with his A … We appreciate the really fantastic support that you gave him.

Parent of a Physics tuition student

With school we were just taught how to do questions, but with Peter I have been taught how to understand the subject better.

AS Physics student

Peter helped me understand a lot of the topics more thoroughly by teaching it to me in a way that kept me focused and always challenged me.

A calm plan for the year ahead

Right work. Right order. Right time.

The aim is not endless work. It is to help a student know what to do next, practise properly and arrive at the examination prepared rather than exhausted.
